WODPlan ("we", "our", "the app") provides AI-powered training programming for functional fitness athletes. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, and your choices.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, and user ID when you sign in with Google or Apple (via Firebase Authentication).
• Training & coaching profile: demographics, training goals, availability, strength and gymnastics metrics, benchmarks, injury history, and notes you enter to personalize programming.
• Workout data: generated weekly plans, completed sessions, performance logs, and training history stored in Firebase Firestore.
• Subscription data: purchase status and entitlement information processed by Apple App Store and RevenueCat (we do not store full payment card details).
• Device & usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and crash reports (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics).
• Push tokens: device notification tokens if you enable notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).

2. How we use data

• Generate and adapt personalized training weeks using AI (Google Gemini via our secure backend).
• Sync your profile and plans across devices.
• Enforce subscription access and prevent abuse.
• Improve reliability, fix crashes, and understand feature usage.
• Send optional training-related notifications you enable.

3. Third-party services

We use trusted processors that may process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Functions)
• Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple
• RevenueCat (subscription management)
• Apple App Store (payments and subscriptions)
• Google Gemini (AI generation — prompts contain sanitized profile data, not used to train public models per Google API terms)

4. Data retention & deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may delete your account data from the app (Reset data) or contact us to request deletion. Backups may take up to 30 days to purge.

5. Health & fitness data

Information such as weight, lifts, benchmarks, and injuries is treated as sensitive fitness data. It is used solely to personalize your training plan and is not sold to third parties.

6. Tracking & advertising

WODPlan does not use your data for cross-app tracking or advertising. We do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT).

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Access to backend services requires authentication. Industry-standard safeguards are applied, but no system is 100% secure.

8. Children

WODPlan is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Your rights

Depending on your region (including GDPR), you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at wodplancontact@gmail.com.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
